.......went into the ether. Suffice to say we walked 45km. Yesterday into Villafranca del Bierzo was supposed to be a gentle, lovely 20km. The middle was a bit up and down, the last five were undulating on rocky roads through vineyards for Bierzo wine. We entered  the town at 3pm, famished, so immediately sat down to pasta and beer.
