Only one more sleep before my cousin Lee and I descend on Scotland....Stirlingshire to be more specific. Lee had decided a few months ago that she and I needed to go to Scotland to investigate our ancestors. I agreed as I thought there might be tea rooms and scones involved. A friend pointed out that it was cheaper to do this online. Not the scones, just the research. I grinned and booked the ticket.
We’ve arranged a B&B in Stirling for four nights and have rented ebikes (our first time ever) for 3 full days. We are hoping all goes well and we are able to stay charged. Our first day will be shortish, invoking a couple of cemeteries and the Falkirk wheel.
